Just a quick update on how my kombucha is going. It has been two and a half weeks since I first started the process.
The below photos were taken at one and a half weeks.
I tasted the liquid and it was very sweet. Actually tasted quite nice, but it’s supposed to be slightly sour and a little vinegary when the kombucha is ready. So I put it back in my cupboard for it to brew more.
The photos below are today, one week since the above photos. I’ve become a parent!!
The scoby has made another scoby! So that means I can start making more Kombucha! Actually I’m going to give it to a friend once it separates it self from it’s mum. Lol
However the liquid is still sweet, leaning on the sour side and probably needs one more week.
